How We Make Disciples

“The Outpost”

The Outpost is the first point of entry into the ministries of Grace for the majority of people. This is where we encounter God through our Worship Celebrations. At Grace, we have the privilege of offering two venues for our weekend worship. In our Worship Center, we offer engaging music, dance, drama and messages to enable you to encounter the presence of God.

If you prefer a smaller, more intimate environment, we also offer our Gayler Chapel where you will experience the sacred hymns along with relevant messages from the Scriptures.

Our purpose for the Outpost is two-fold: First, we want to introduce seekers to the God of the Journey. Each week we realize there are people who are seeking to understand more about who God is and what His plan is for our lives. Therefore, we deliver messages that reveal the nature and character of our God, as well as what it means to follow Christ as a disciple.

Secondly, we want to inspire disciples to prevail in the Journey. Jesus gave His followers the mission of teaching others to obey all of God’s instructions. Each weekend in the Outpost, we intentionally unpack Biblical truths with the goal of life application and heart transformation.

We hope you will join us soon and experience God’s presence as He meets with us at the Outpost.

“The Bus”

The purpose of the Bus is to equip disciples to advance in their Journey with Jesus. Our goal on the Bus is to provide learning opportunities that will enable participants to grow in their knowledge, understanding, and application of the Scriptures.

Our primary event on the Bus is called the “Outfitter’s Academy.” This is our discipleship environment which offers a wide range of Bible-centered classes, from the seeking student to the seasoned veteran of the faith, you will find engaging classes throughout the year to enable you to advance in your Journey. For an updated offering of classes please click here.

“The Raft”

The goal of our discipleship model is the Raft. It is here that we launch a team of maturing disciples into the world to serve others. The Raft involves “ Life Groups and Beyond.” Our Life Groups offer a small community of Christian fellowship where each participant is cared for and challenged to grow into maturity. It is in this environment where real life change takes place. The goal of each Life Group is for individuals to grow closer to God and one another through study and service.

The “…and Beyond” portion of the Raft refers to us going out into the World to serve others in the name of Christ. Our desire is for every participant at Grace to be actively engaged in mission, whether here in our own local community or around the world. Scripture teaches us that every disciple is a missionary. Therefore, we have a sacred responsibility to share with others all that God has accomplished in us and entrusted to us. For more information as to how you can get into the raft, please contact Pastor Rick Thompson, our Outfitting Pastor, or Paul Emery, our Missions Outfitter who specializes in equipping, connecting, and sending God’s people into mission and ministry.
