Yarns

Three years ago I put out a call for yarns and received those you no longer need, those from unfinished projects, and some from those you purchased specifically for my knitting.  From that, the dark yarns were turned into helmet liners for the military (about 500) and the colors not usable for them were turned into warm stocking caps for the homeless at the St. Francis House (about 200).  And now a third project has been requested - miniature blankets for the Memorial Box for Babies.  For the first two projects "worsted weight" (example: that used for afghans) is used.  A light weight yarn ifor babies is used for the blankets.  If you would like to help, please bring the yarns to church - and they will be put to good use again.  Thanks for helping!
