In an effort to support the Keisler family (Grace missionaries with YWAM) and their discipleship training program in Lesotho, South Africa, some of us (the royal "we"??) spent time with them while they were in Gainesville evaluating present needs and looking forward to future needs. One of the needs "down the road" was a reliable vehicle. We started a vehicle fund for them in the Fall and many have given generously to that already.
Unfortunately, the future has arrived much sooner than expected. The day after Pastor Denny left Lesotho, the vehicle they had been using broke down. After a month at the shop it has been determined that it cannot be repaired.

Now Denny and Rick have asked that you, the Grace family, be made aware of this need.
Paul Emery has talked with Nathan about the best vehicle for the family, for the mountainous terrain of Lesotho, for teams... The Landcruiser II looks to be the best vehicle. It is less expensive if purchased from Johannesburg, S. Africa. The list price for a new vehicle is $59.000+, w/o taxes. It is the right vehicle for them doing hard work in a hard place. Nathan is searching for reliable, "gently" used vehicles. Paul urged him not to cut corners and buy a "cheap" vehicle since reliability is crucial. |
The need has become an emergency with the unexpected death of their current vehicle. Their ministry has become immobilized for lack of transportation. They even have to borrow a vehicle to buy groceries. The Grace family has already given $10,000 toward this vehicle. So, you can see the gap for what is needed. Prayerfully consider what God wants you to do."
